Euan McDonald and Lesley Silwood crossed paths thirteen years ago, they were wearing nearly identical outfits:

“So I turned up at the beach,” recalls McDonald, “and sure enough, there she was, waiting for me.” To which Silwood rejoins, “I was not waiting for you.” But the he-said, she-said aside, they’ve been inseparable ever since. At that first glance ‘Buba’ pronounced ‘bubba’ was born. Their Buba. “In Japanese and Hebrew, it means ‘baby’; in Turkish, ‘father’; and it’s also just a term of endearment,” explains McDonald. “It’s what we call each other.”Collections have been inspired by inspirational exotic cultural colours and shapes of Goa to the florescent glamour of Ibiza’s Techno scene, international flavors which compliment each other to create a unique fashion experience.
